1.SCM Analysis

Our Supply Chain Analysis is the process of analyzing and evaluating the flow of goods and services from the point of origin to the point of consumption. It aims to identify the inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain and develop strategies to eliminate them.

The components of Supply Chain Analysis include:

a. . Supply Chain mapping - It is the process of creating a visual representation of the supply chain, including all the parties involved, their relationships and the flow of goods and services among them. Supply Chain mapping could be done in following areas:

aa. Inventory Management - It includes the mapping  of the inventory levels, reorder point, and order quantity to optimize the supply chain process.
ab. Transportation Management - It includes the mapping of the transportation modes, costs and lead time to optimize the transportation process.
ac. Supplier Management - It includes the evaluation of the suppliers based on their delivery time, quality, and cost to optimize the procurement process.

b. . Identify inefficiencies: It is the process of identifying the bottlenecks in the supply chain, such as long lead times, inventory stockouts, or high transportation costs.

c. . Develop Strategies: It is the process of developing strategies to eliminate the bottlenecks in the supply chain, such as working with alternate suppliers, optimizing inventory management or changing transportation modes.

d. Monitor the supply chain: It is the process of monitoring the supply chain regularly to identify any new inefficiencies that arise and reevaluate the strategies frequently.

 e. Develop Contingency plan: It is the process of identifying any potential risks to the supply chain and develop contingency plans for them.
